Huge chemical companies are altering the genetics of our food. This
is done to eliminate the problem of crops dying when sprayed with their chemicals. Thankfully enough (200,000)American citizens complained to the United States Department of Agriculture to strike such plants from the organic list.
The U.S. Govt. was willing to allow the addition of altered genes, irradiation and bio solids to be included in the organic label.Why would they have such things permitted?
With mans poor record of environmental destruction we should be safe guarding the inner workings of nature. Forcing open the DNA of plants destabilises nature working as an intergrated whole. We live in such a thin barrier of life on this planet that by altering the base upon which we stand, our chances of environmental recovery is greatly reduced.
Organic farming is the technique where by crops are grown in accordance to nature, in a balanced life giving situation. Species aid each other in the life process creating a vast community of interrelated resources.

For those seeking healthier diets, important foods such as Soy Beans are one of the most popular genetic experiments. We are now ingesting foods that have been sprayed with even higher doses of lethal chemicals such as Roundup, and are expected to believe that this food is organic---grown the same way that nature sows and reaps.
